Your Role on the Team Position Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor of Customer Service, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing a welcoming environment for all patients and guests to Patient Financial Services and directing them to proper resource personnel. Responsible to initially screen patients or responsible relatives and refer them to the Collection Representative or when possible, answer their questions and/or obtain information. Answers and directs incoming telephone calls and schedules patient appointments to review their hospital account balances. Ensures that lobby area is clean, organized and safe at all times. Responsible for preparing daily cash deposit. Will utilize hospital computer systems to provide basic information such as locating patient accounts and to conduct clerical data entry for the unit, and other clerical duties as assigned.
