JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Bridge Project Manager to supervise transportation projects involving preliminary engineering and PS&E. You will offer technical support, staff development, contract management, and client management for statewide and regional clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review project proposals to determine scope, time frame, and staffing requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Prepare scope of work and cost estimates for proposals.
- Manage staff utilization and assignments.
- Present in both oral and written formats.
- Provide quality control and assurance for bridge projects.
- Perform technical analyses and calculations.
- Occasional to moderate travel may be required.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Management.
- California P.E. license required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge and transportation engineering, with at least 3 years managing bridge-related projects.
- Familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures.
- Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software.
- Experience with MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams.
- Background in business development and proposal writing preferred.
- Must be in the Santa Ana, CA office 2 days per week (not a remote role).
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is up to $204,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate and negotiable.
