Claims Processor – $22.00

Summary:
The Claims Processor is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and processing product-related claims with accuracy, completeness, and adherence to eligibility standards. This role requires familiarity with general merchandise manufacturing processes, product component technical composition, the plumbing industry, and commercial insurance practices. The position includes up to 25% travel for off-site product inspections.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and/or training

Knowledge of commercial insurance and claims processing

Understanding of product manufacturing and technical components, especially within the plumbing industry

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Process all incoming product claims in accordance with company standards and procedures

Review and analyze new claims and route them to the appropriate insurance carrier

Serve as liaison among internal departments, insurance adjusters, and customers to resolve product claims

Evaluate claims submitted to insurance companies to determine eligibility

Research and resolve issues within scope of responsibility

Maintain strong communication between corporate and field offices to ensure timely collection of information needed for legal responses and claim loss management

Develop and prepare written and verbal correspondence related to claim processing

Prepare, maintain, and update reports and internal claim records

Identify potential company exposure related to pending claims or litigation and report findings to supervisors

Attend off-site product inspections as required (up to 25% travel)
