Administrative / Skilled Typist Clerk (Bilingual Spanish) – LA County Probation Department, Pasadena

The Los Angeles County Probation Department is hiring two Administrative / Skilled Typist Clerks for their Pasadena office. This long-term opportunity is a great way to gain experience in a government setting and potentially transition into a permanent County role after six months.

Location: 300 E Walnut St, Suite 200, Pasadena, CA 91101
Pay: $19.44/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Type: Indefinite contract / long-term temporary

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and assist the public at the front desk

Answer multi-line phones, file, scan, and perform data entry

Provide bilingual Spanish-English administrative support

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all duties

Requirements:

Bilingual Spanish required

Minimum 40 WPM typing speed (take test here
)

Full LiveScan background check (paid for by AppleOne; results take 4–6 weeks)

Professional, business-casual attire
