As the Clinic Director, you will provide leadership and management for all UCLA School of Dentistry Clinics, with direct oversight of all staff delivering patient services in the School Of Dentistry. You will be responsible for establishing a discipline-specific infrastructure, including recruiting and supporting staff within assigned practices.
Key responsibilities include overseeing clinic operations to ensure compliance, patient satisfaction, safety, quality, and adherence to UCLA policies and regulatory requirements. This role also includes monitoring all 13 clinics productivity, billing practices, audit compliance, equipment maintenance, and IT systems essential to practice success.
Salary range:
UCLA Health’s salary range for this title code is $105,700 – $234,500 annual. Please note that the department’s target pay range is $165K annual.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Clinical leadership, planning and change management skills
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy in persuading and
influencing a wide variety of people at various levels to achieve results - Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient services and staffing
in environment with a high volume of patient visits - Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze all pertinent
information/data to make and communicate decisions to meet the unit’s current
and future needs - Strong knowledge of industry standards and/or regulatory requirements
- Skill in setting priorities, which accurately reflect the relative
importance of job responsibilities - Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to
define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusions - Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships and a
culture of integrity with faculty, residents, medical students and staff from
various social, cultural and economic backgrounds - Skill in communication to clearly convey complex problems and proposals
in both formal and informal situations and in oral and written format
Preferred:
- Master’s degree (Business Administration, Health Care
Administration, Public health or related field) or combination of education and
relevant experience - Working knowledge of research-oriented patient care systems
- Advanced financial expertise in budget planning and
financial forecasting in healthcare - Knowledge of EPIC EHR
