Join our dedicated team in the Cornea & Uveitis clinic, where we’re committed to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers with efficient, compassionate service. We’re looking for a Clinic Supervisor who enjoys leading others, improving processes, and helping create a positive, team-oriented environment.

Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, the Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and provide leadership across key areas:

  • Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise clinical and administrative staff. Motivate staff, encourage teamwork, provide mentorship,
  • Office & Material Management: Manage provider schedules and ensure smooth coordination of clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Financial Management: Coordinate financial activities of the practice, purchase supplies, oversee billing issues. 
  • Front Office Support: Supervise patient scheduling, surgical clearances, patient counseling, verify insurance, and ensure a positive patient experience.

Salary Range: $31.51-62.64 Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a clinical setting, including organizing workflow to accomplish established objectives, training staff, and evaluating staff effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with appointment and surgery scheduling systems, preferably with UCLA systems or ophthalmology, or both.
  • Working knowledge of current third-party payor systems including managed care and governmental programs; familiarity with current patient billing practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively coordinate the patient care activities of the practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with patients who are under stress.
  • Ability to follow-through with tasks under minimal supervision and ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to organize and maintain patient records efficiently.
  • Ability to perform under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
