The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), Department of Psychiatry & the Behavioral Sciences and Pediatrics, in the Division of Psychiatry, is actively seeking a Child-Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our full-time faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences and Pediatrics (Clinician Educator). The available position is for a Child-Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our vibrant Consultation-Liaison Service. Psychiatrists would work on a close knit, collegial interdisciplinary team comprised of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, and Social Workers. The positions are primarily clinical, but also involve teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Additionally, the roles provide the opportunity for participating in research in an active teaching hospital environment and university community. Childrens Hospital serves as the principal pediatric referral resource for children and adolescents in the Southwestern United States and is nationally recognized for its advances in pediatric care, teaching, and research. In the last year, Childrens Hospital was ranked fifth overall on the US News & World Report Best Childrens Hospitals Honor Roll, and 10 pediatric specialties in the institution were individually nationally ranked.
