Description: The Clinical Educator will develop and deliver educational programs and resources to all levels of healthcare professionals, students, and interdisciplinary team members involved in clinical training and education throughout the grant-funded project, ending June 2029. This includes implementing training modules, workshops, and continuing education programs tailored to address the unique needs and challenges of caring for older adults at Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Project (GWEP) primary care sites. The clinical educator will provide learning-oriented support to students and healthcare professionals while facilitating the smooth implementation of clinical rotations, preceptorship programs, and hands-on experiences in geriatric settings. Specialization: At least one clinical specialization: Medical Surgical, Critical Care, OB/Women’s Health, Pediatric, Geriatric, or Psychiatric Mental Health. Preferred: Geriatric or with experience working with the aging population. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver educational programs and resources to all levels of healthcare professionals, students, and interdisciplinary team members involved in clinical training and education. Implement training modules, workshops, and continuing education programs tailored to address the unique needs and challenges of caring for older adults at GWEP primary care sites. Provide learning-oriented support to students and healthcare professionals, while facilitating smooth implementation of clinical rotations, preceptorship programs, and hands-on experiences in geriatric settings. May also contribute to curriculum development where needed, as well as program evaluation efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality geriatric education and training. Level: Clinical Educator. Qualifications: Master of Science (Nursing or other related field). Experience: Prefer three or more years experience in a healthcare occupation. Workload: Full-time. Hire Date: Open until filled. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information. Ability to collaborate with other faculty and staff and maintain collegial relations. Compensation: $68,640 to $125,460 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package .
