Must have 2-3 years of Collections Clerk experience in resume.
Immediate need for a Collections Clerk who can provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy. This position requires a solid grasp of debt collection processes and the ability to carry out duties effectively. This role involves contacting customers with open and overdue balances, notifying them of outstanding amounts, and making efforts to secure payments. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Prepare and send collection letters or notices to delinquent customers, update customer accounts with payment information and notes on collection efforts, follow up on payment arrangements and negotiate payment plans when necessary, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities. You will report to the Staff Accountant or designated manager, perform and perform all duties assigned by the manager.
