Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Acquisition Specialist to join a federal program support the United State Space Force. This is an on-site job opportunity located in El Segundo, California. The Contracts Acquisition Specialist will support the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership with strategy regarding acquisitions, contracting, budgeting, and execution. This is supporting a long-term program and requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Responsibilities for the Contracts Acquisition Specialist:
• Provide support focused around contract negotiation, price reasonableness determination, contract modifications, and contract administration.
• Provide acquisition and program management support to weapon systems development programs – draft technical evaluations, monitor and evaluate performance, and assist with pre/post award procurement actions.
• Help program office build the acquisition strategy and RFP packages.
• Develop various documentation, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide expert advice for mission objectives.
Required Qualifications for the Contracts Acquisition Specialist include:
• 10+ years of experience with Contracts and procurement focused on DOD programs
• Experience with buying in a government contracting role
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation for the Contracts Acquisition Specialist include:
• Salary: $150,000-200,000 **Depending on experience**
