Position: Customer Service Representative (Contract)
Duration: 4 Months
Pay: $21.77/Hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9-5 (Hybrid Schedule)

Purpose / Summary

The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact and liaison for both internal and external customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for order entry, handling customer requests, and providing timely, professional, and courteous support. The Customer Service Representative acts as the voice of the customer, helping determine how Evident can best meet customer equipment needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Work with customers at all levels to support requests for Evident products.

Process sales orders and related transactions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM system.

Coordinate with internal departments including Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Shipping to ensure timely order delivery and resolution of customer inquiries.

Follow up on all transactions to ensure customer requests are completed in a timely manner.

Demonstrate a full understanding of the end-to-end order process and act with urgency and professionalism at each stage.

Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving order or service issues.

Provide professional, customer-focused support via incoming and outgoing phone calls.

Meet or exceed individual and team customer service KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Work independently while effectively problem-solving and managing priorities.

Participate in special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in a business environment.

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

Excellent customer service skills with professionalism, enthusiasm, and tact, both written and verbal.

Strong ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work effectively.

Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems and best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and related applications.

Strong work ethic with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Positive attitude with the ability to promote teamwork and strong working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using SAP ERP.

Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Physical Demands

Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Bend, stoop, or kneel up to 2 hours per day.

Frequently push/pull up to 50+ lbs.

Perform fine, close work for up to 8 hours per day.

Stand, sit, and/or walk up to 8 hours per day.

Vision requirements correctable to 20/20.

No operation of moving vehicles required.

Comments / Special Instructions

This role is 100% onsite during training and will transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with order processing in SAP.

Salesforce experience is a strong plus.
