Pay Rate: $20/hour
We’re seeking a professional and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Riverwoods! Under the supervision of the Supervisor/Manager, this role is responsible for managing all incoming calls and ensuring they are routed efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate the switchboard to handle and route calls to the appropriate departments or personnel
-Answer calls promptly (within three rings) and with professionalism
-Exercise discretion and sound judgment during high-volume or sensitive calls
-Research and identify appropriate contacts when caller information is not readily available
-Maintain and update call scripts, contact lists, and related documents
-Track and report incoming call volumes monthly
-Cross-train in mailroom and other administrative functions
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a receptionist, call center, or switchboard operator role preferred
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
-Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
