Project Overview:
The Equities Business Control team is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to perform data analysis on operational risk data and optimize existing controls. This role involves ensuring compliance with Enterprise data policies, resolving data quality issues, and supporting regulatory remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Enterprise data policies and procedures for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB).
Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality defects and issues.
Support regulatory remediation efforts, ensuring effective mitigation of data management risks.
Assess and measure data management risks, ensuring control effectiveness for risk mitigation.
Identify and escalate emerging risks and critical issues proactively.
Communicate project performance regularly to influence and inform key stakeholders.
Top Skills & Qualifications:
Data Analysis Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Macros); experienced in handling large spreadsheets with multiple tabs.
Regulatory Reporting Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory reporting, specifically 2052a, Y14, or Federal Reserve Board (FRB) requirements.
Operational Risk Understanding: Ability to analyze data and business processes to determine organizational impacts.
Presentation Skills: Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating and delivering presentations as needed.
Remediation Project Experience: Background in change management, data movement, and risk remediation projects.
