As a Paralegal you will support our attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, managing case files, and assisting with trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring they are updated and properly documented.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed.
Assist in preparing exhibits and evidence for hearings or trials.
File documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other legal entities.
Manage and track case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite (knowledge of software/program is a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Paralegal certification or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
