We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Validation Specialist to join our team in Mason, OH. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and verifying data that has been digitally extracted from physical documents — specifically vision insurance claims. You’ll ensure all medical codes and patient information are accurate, making corrections when necessary.
This position requires a computer-savvy individual with strong attention to detail and accuracy. The role primarily involves sitting, with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Candidates with prior data entry or medical claims processing experience are highly encouraged to apply. Successful employees may have the opportunity to be hired permanently by the client.
Pay Rate: $17.25/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
Location: 4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040
Dress Code: Business Casual (No open-toed shoes; jeans allowed on Fridays)
Parking: Free on-site parking
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and validate data from vision insurance claim documents for accuracy.
Correct errors in patient and medical code information as needed.
Prepare and source physical documents for digital processing.
Operate high-volume imaging, copying, and mail handling equipment.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and inventory of supplies.
Provide excellent customer service to internal team members.
Support additional office duties such as filing, shipping/receiving, and document handling.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in data entry, document processing, or a related field preferred.
Experience with medical or insurance claims a plus.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, document management systems).
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
