Position Summary: The Director of Residential Security leads and oversees all aspects of residential security operations, including a team of 4 supervisors and 100+ security agents. This senior leadership position is responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, team development, and maintaining premier client relationships. The role encompasses comprehensive oversight of personnel management, security protocols, vendor relationships, and technological infrastructure while ensuring exceptional service delivery across all residential security regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Personnel Management

·       Direct and develop a large-scale security operation comprising 4 supervisors and over 100 security agents, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth

·       Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes in collaboration with HR and recruiting teams

·       Conduct performance evaluations, implement disciplinary actions, and make termination decisions

·       Oversee comprehensive staff scheduling operations and maintain appropriate staffing levels

·       Mentor and coach supervisors and team leads to build strong leadership capabilities

·       Drive professional development initiatives and training programs for all security personnel

Operations & Security Management

·       Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all residential security operations

·       Oversee security equipment deployment, maintenance, and inventory management

·       Direct the execution of security assessments and implementation of security enhancement recommendations

·       Manage vendor relationships and oversee integration of security systems and technologies

·       Ensure compliance with all security protocols and industry best practices

·       Coordinate executive protection services, including advance work and logistics planning

·       Monitor and optimize operational efficiency across all residential security programs

Client Relations & Service Excellence

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and their representatives

·       Maintain strong relationships with client teams, vendors, and key stakeholders

·       Ensure consistent delivery of premium security services across all client properties

·       Oversee client communication channels and security team coordination

·       Collaborate with CEO on strategic client meetings and service developments

·       Address and resolve high-level security concerns and service issues

Administrative & Financial Management

·       Oversee departmental budget and resource allocation

·       Review and approve payroll documentation and resolve discrepancies

·       Manage vendor contracts and service agreements

·       Develop and track key performance indicators for security operations

·       Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of security incidents and operations

·       Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

·       10+ years of progressive security management experience

·       Proven track record of leading large teams in a high-end security environment

·       Strong understanding of security technologies and systems

·       Excellence in client relationship management

·       Superior organizational and leadership abilities

·       Experience with executive protection and advance planning

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $165,000 to $200,000

·       Up to 100% Company contribution towards medical, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days for the employee (BBX contributes to the employee only, but dependents can be added to all plans for extra cost to employee)
