Are you a strategic leader with deep roots in the trucking industry and a passion for operational transformation? We’re hiring a Director of Strategic Operations to lead high-impact initiatives that improve how we move, manage, and scale across our logistics network. This is a newly created leadership role designed to modernize processes, enhance efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Candidates must have a proven background in the trucking or transportation industry. This experience is critical to understanding the operational nuances and challenges that come with managing fleets, drivers, dispatch, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What You’ll Do
Lead strategic, cross-functional projects that optimize logistics, fleet operations, dispatch, safety, customer service, and supporting technologies.
Identify inefficiencies and lead enterprise-level operational improvements with a focus on cost savings, compliance, and service excellence.
Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to align operational strategies with broader business goals.
Oversee project planning, execution, resource management, and performance reporting for key initiatives.
Use data and KPIs to evaluate performance, guide priorities, and support informed executive decisions.
Champion change management and ensure smooth implementation of new systems, tools, and processes.
Develop governance models and performance frameworks that promote transparency and accountability.

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification strongly preferred).
7+ years of experience in the trucking or transportation industry with a strong track record in logistics, operations, or project leadership.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic projects from concept to execution with quantifiable results.
Data-driven mindset and analytical skills, with the ability to transform insights into operational actions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
Strong knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and key trucking industry KPIs.
A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for operational excellence.
