Description
Responsible for strategy development, revenue growth from training programs, and ongoing implementation of management systems and programs related to safety training and supporting services. This involves developing and implementing, effective and efficient strategies and programs for both technical and safety training. Services and supporting strategies developed and offered, must align with internal priorities and objectives, and meet client’s safety requirements. Lead and develop the team of Safety Technical Experts, Service Repair Technicians and Safety Educators.
- Lead and supervise staff engaged in the development and delivery of technical and safety training products and services.
- Negotiate, consult and ensure compliance on qualifications, standards, test procedures, regulations, and safety programs in conjunction with government ministries and other safety authorities.
- Determine staff requirements, establish performance and work objectives.
- Manage safety & technical training delivery for customers including training needs assessments, strategies, ensuring delivery in the most cost-effective manner, interacting with clients and training staff on delivery and development of training program.
- Lead project teams, clients, safety technical experts, suppliers, internal and external consultants, analyze performance problems and training requirements, prepare written documents and reports, and make recommendations for new or revised programs, methods, training manuals, and reference materials.
Experience:
- 7 years experience in Services Operational Management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling strong alignment within matrix organization
- Experience with strategic and resource planning
- Efficient, effective communication and presentation abilities, with ability to tailor approach to best reach intended audience
- Understanding of how to deliver Safety Services nationally
- Navigate uncertainty with agility and maintains appropriate forward momentum with strong core team engagement
