Job Title: Document Scanning Specialist
Contract: Temporary
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Document Scanning Specialist. Responsibilities include preparing documents for scanning (removing staples, clips, etc.) and inserting barcodes. You may also be cross-trained to operate commercial scanners, scan documents, and perform quality checks. Training will be provided on-site.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Pay rate: $18.25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documents for scanning (remove staples, clips, and insert barcodes).
  • Operate scanners and perform quality checks (if trained).
  • Lift and move boxes weighing 20–30 lbs (assistance available from team members or managers).
  • Follow procedures and maintain quality standards for repetitive tasks.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC and typing skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift/move supplies up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing work conditions, moderate stress, and medium-to-high noise levels.
  • Previous scanning or copy center experience preferred but not required.
