We are looking for an entry level bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks in an import/distribution environment.
Responsibilities include AR records collections calls for outstanding payments, Processing credit memos for returns, Receiving and processing check/cash deposits, Process invoices, AP data entry, Filing, Purchase and Cost Analyst and Answering Phones.
Requirements:

  • Able to multi-task
  • Excellent communications, presentation and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Well organized
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Team Player
  • A/R experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish or Mandarin) is a plus
  • BA/BS (is not required but it is a plus)
