As a Roofer Apprentice, you’ll receive hands-on training in installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of roofing systems for residential and commercial properties. You will work alongside experienced roofers, gaining skills in shingle installation, leak repair, and job site safety. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, using their hands, and learning a trade that offers long-term growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance:

· Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs using shingles, tiles, or metal sheets.

· Help measure, cut, and fit roofing materials accurately.

· Carry materials, operate hand tools, and prepare job sites for work.

· Perform minor repairs, seal leaks, and ensure roofs meet company standards.

Safety and Compliance:

· Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including fall protection use.

· Conduct daily equipment inspections and report hazards.

· Participate in job safety meetings before each project.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate daily work logs.

· Report material usage and completion details to the site foreman.

· Assist in documenting site conditions before and after work.

Work Environment and Expectations

Work takes place outdoors in various weather conditions. You will frequently climb ladders, lift materials up to 75 lbs, and spend long periods on rooftops. Punctuality and teamwork are essential.

Requirements

· Comfortable working at heights up to 100 feet.

· Basic hand tool knowledge preferred.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Must pass a drug and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Benefits: Health insurance, paid training, advancement opportunities, PPE provided. Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed.
