The incumbent will provide general administrative support to the vice dean, faculty and clinical affairs, and executive director for clinical affairs, School of Medicine. Additionally, they will work under the supervision of the administrative programs manager for clinical affairs and will partner with them on all activities related to the vice dean and clinical affairs. Your Role on the Team Familiarity with the organization’s processes, protocols and procedures. Solid analytical / problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Strong service orientation. Knowledge of federal regulations such as FERPA. Solid skills in problem identification. Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, faculty, alumni / donors, students and external constituencies, both verbally and in writing. Advising and counseling skills. Thorough knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs. Political acumen and sensitivities to the differing perspectives and political circumstances within all levels of the organization as well as the Office of the President and external constituencies.
