Your Role & Impact
As the lead HVAC Technician, you will oversee the operations, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems across a large multi-tenant commercial property. You’ll play a key role in managing mechanical contractors, supporting tenant comfort, and ensuring efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate mechanical contractors and subcontractors for preventive maintenance.
Conduct property-wide inspections, identify issues, and implement corrective action plans.
Serve as the primary HVAC contact for tenants, resolving concerns promptly.
Provide technical guidance and training to Maintenance Technicians and Property Managers.
Support energy management systems (EMS/BAS) and assist with tenant fit-up reviews.
Perform hands-on repairs and replacements of equipment/parts as needed.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for HVAC operations.
Contribute to annual budget proposals for mechanical building improvements.
Represent the company professionally with tenants, vendors, and the public.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Stability: Strong work history with demonstrated longevity (no job hoppers).
Commercial Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (industrial/commercial required).
Valid Driver’s License.
Refrigerant Recovery Certification (CFC/EPA).
Strong troubleshooting skills with customer-first focus.
Availability for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Ability to pass a 7-year background check, credit check, employment verification, and 10-panel drug test.
Work Environment
Exposure to mechanical equipment, outdoor conditions, and rooftop work.
Requires physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and handle HVAC systems safely.
