Job Description The Facility Coordinator II is responsible for general maintenance and equipment repair at an advanced level for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network to include multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers and other sites as the need arises. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides building maintenance and repair to include: HVAC system monitoring and repair; Plumbing maintenance and drain repair; Electrical and lighting system repair; Furniture and office equipment repair; Wall cover repair including painting, texturing, etc. Coordinates and schedules contractors’ services when scope of work requires outside services. Performs project coordination and supervision when tenant improvement projects are undertaken. Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage. Provides minor janitorial support as needed for the sanitary delivery of clinical services. Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school diploma/GED required. Associate degree/college diploma preferred. Experience: Five (5) years progressive journeyman level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair. Knowledge and possession of hand and/or power tools needed to perform routine maintenance operations required.
