Position Summary Deliver career services to approximately 700 UCLA Anderson Fully-Employed MBA students (FEMBA), and where needed, approximately 300 Executive MBA Students. Will be part of the OPMBA Professional MBA Career Management Center’s team and will provide career services for primarily FEMBA students, and secondarily for EMBA students, including assisting with developing resumes and cover letters, conducting Career Management Workshops on topics such as interviewing, networking, research, and self-assessment, providing career guidance, feedback and coaching, and helping students develop lifelong career management skills. Will support students’ completion of requirements to participate in the Anderson Facilitated recruiting (AFR) program, including conducting 1:1 AFR student deliverables meetings. Design and implement various career programs to FEMBA and EMBA students. Expected to carry out responsibilities independently and work closely with the other FEMBA/EMBACareer Coaches. Reports directly to the Director of ProMBA Career Management Center. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications Extensive work experience in career counseling for early and mid-career professionals. (Required) Previous experience working with business professionals. (Required) Extensive capabilities to counsel and coach individuals and groups in all aspects for career management. (Required) Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to set expectations effectively, follow-up with individuals and organize groups. (Required) Demonstrated expertise in networking, marketing and recruiting targeted at professionals. (Required) Knowledge of career assessment and resources. (Required) Excellent interpersonal skills to manage a diverse and demanding adult population. (Required) Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions. (Required) Ability to provide creative solutions for individuals and for the specific needs of FEMBA students. (Required) Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. (Required) Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. (Required) Knowledgeable and comfortable learning and using applicable technology and software programs. (Required) Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
