The Field Service Engineer (FSE) primarily works on-site at customer plants, both domestically and internationally, providing service and repair for turbo-expander equipment and systems. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely service, while collaborating closely with the Aftermarket Team and Engineers to quickly resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction through service excellence.
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing designated equipment, while ensuring customer satisfaction through clear, daily communication and timely follow-up. The role involves leading commissioning activities, supporting product reliability and serviceability efforts, and sharing technical knowledge with team members.
Responsibilities also include administrative tasks such as maintaining service logs, ordering parts, and providing basic equipment training. The engineer must stay current on new products and support the Assembly department as needed. This position requires working around machinery, chemicals, and heights, and includes operating motor vehicles. Compliance with the company’s Quality and EHS standards is essential, including reporting quality issues, completing site reports, and identifying any unsafe conditions.
The hiring manager is prior military and a RecruitMilitary alumni. They are looking for strong troubleshooters who are comfortable with with traveling. There is a 65% overnight travel rate. A company vehicle is provided, but the candidate will also fly to customer sites.
Base salary, $100K – $120K plus benefits, a 401k, a potential bonus, and per diem. Tools, a company credit card and all items needed for the job are provided.
