job summary:
Join one of the world’s leading machining companies as an Field Service Engineer in Ceritos, CA. Position will need to travel around 50% of the time. It is an hourly role that pays for time driving/flying to client sites and is eligible for overtime pay.
Ideal candidates will have experience with installing, repairing and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery. This is a direct hire opportunity with generous monthly allowances and additional benefits.

responsibilities:
- Creating and updating documentation of technical information
- Developing, preparing, generating, and analyzing ongoing service reports
- Demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a team member; often working with client’s engineering team
- Provide assistance and training to client’s engineering team on installation and maintenance of newer product lines
- Establish and build exemplary communication and customer service relationships with clients
- Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair/install of CNC Machine and tools
- Experience with programming/editing PLCs
- Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time
