We are seeking a Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our high-volume dealership team. This is a unique hybrid role, blending the drive of sales with the discipline of accounting to maximize every financing opportunity, ensure compliance, and strengthen relationships with our lending partners.
Why This Role Is Exciting:
• Work with an existing customer pipeline, no cold calling required.
• Take ownership of deals and influence customers to choose in-house financing.
• Earn a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions, with top performers making $200K–$290K annually.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer-Facing:
• Take ownership of financing opportunities brought in by sales reps.
• Proactively reach out to customers to secure financing and prevent deals from slipping elsewhere.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financing partners.
• Professionally represent the dealership in all customer and partner interactions.
• Manage the deal-closing process, including contracts, signatures, and documentation.
• Become the trusted financing point of contact, fostering repeat business.
Accounting & Compliance:
• Submit deals accurately with complete documentation.
• Post journal entries for inventory and ensure proper accounting compliance.
• Validate sales tax and federal excise tax (FET) calculations.
• Confirm funding before deals move to accounting.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance by addressing incomplete submissions.
Reporting Structure:
• Reports to executive leadership.
• Receives daily guidance from sales leadership.
• Collaborates closely with a small, high-performing sales team.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualities:
• Proactive, self-starting personality with strong sales drive.
• Confident in persuading, negotiating, and closing financing opportunities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations, GL entries).
• Strong relationship-builder, credible with sales staff and external lenders.
• Service-oriented, with focus on initiative, stewardship, and follow-through.
Preferred Background:
• Experience in F&I, automotive, trucking, or dealership environments.
• Experience balancing customer-facing and accounting responsibilities.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financing goals.

Work Environment
• Onsite, customer-facing role.
• Standard hours: 8:30–5:00 or 9:00–5:30; flexibility required for deal flow.
• Fast-paced, collaborative culture emphasizing teamwork and accountability.

Compensation & Growth
• Base salary: $55,000
• Uncapped monthly commission beginning with the first deal closed.
• High performers can earn $200K–$290K+ annually.
• Final commission structure and metrics discussed during interviews.

Success in the First 90 Days
• Build trust and rapport with veteran sales reps.
• Close financing deals quickly and independently.
• Demonstrate accuracy, accountability, and compliance.
• Show adaptability, confidence, and a team-first mentality.
