I am currently staffing for a Financial Auditor with Health Plan industry expertise. This is a contract to hire position with a Hybrid work option. Please see details listed below and email me your resume to be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Health Plan Auditor with a strong background in auditing and financial analysis. This role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance, financial solvency, and regulatory requirements across provider groups, specialty health plans, and vendors.

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90017
Compensation: $50/hr. to $57/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial audits and analysis for specialty health plans and vendors.
  • Perform risk assessments, root cause analysis, and cost evaluations.
  • Review financial statements, identify issues, and develop corrective action plans (CAPs).
  • Manage Medicaid/Medicare auditing (strong plus).
  • Support quarterly/annual DMHC filing submissions.
  • Liaise with CMS on claim audit sections.
  • Create and maintain standardized templates, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate across departments, providers, and vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years conducting financial audits.
  • 5+ years in managed health care industry.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power point, and Share point.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Licenses/Certifications (one required):

  • CPA, CMA, CIA, or CFE
