Description
Under the direction of the Senior or Assistant Food Service Manager, this role supports retail and patient food service operations at RRUMC and SM locations. The position ensures compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations while actively contributing as a team member to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in food service, including tray assembly and delivery.
* Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English to accurately identify food items and menu selections.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team on a fast-paced tray assembly line.
* Basic math skills sufficient to perform calculations without a calculator.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of various diets.
* Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with coworkers, medical staff, patients, supervisors, and management.
* Ability to conform to departmental dress code.
* Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as stretching, bending, pushing, walking, lifting, and reaching repeatedly.
* Capable of lifting and pushing heavy carts.
* Willingness to attend departmental training classes.
