The CAS team is seeking an Asset Coordinator responsible for all WAAS program assets, including engineering, capital, and government (customer) material, moving and tracking these assets, and maintaining proper records.

What You Will Do:

  • The successful candidate will possess skills in interfacing with Engineering, Property, Receiving, and Warehouse departments.
  • The candidate will perform periodic utilization reviews of government equipment for the Property organization and will be responsible for conducting annual validation of all program inventory, including the validation of property tags on material. 
  • The role requires the constant evaluation of all engineering and government inventory for excess disposition, such as scrap, surplus, or long-term storage. 
  • The candidate will use organization skills to organize and consolidate material in engineering storage rooms. 
  • Coordination with different departments will be required for the replacement and exchange of damaged or non-conforming material during engineering or production activities. 
  • The candidate will be expected to work closely with Engineering and the Depot lead regarding progress, issues, and potential resolution and participate in team status meetings.
  • Other duties include generating inventory status reports, updating Program Notebooks (PNBs), assisting with audits, and supporting logistics functions such as packaging, inventory support, material expediting, kitting, and using material handling equipment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with PRISM database for asset management.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Operations organizations.
  • Experienced with movement of material from local Warehouse into laboratories.
  • Experience with requesting material to be processed for closure with local Production Control group, and movement back to the local Warehouse.

The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD – 113,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
