Role: HR Temp (4-Month Contract)
Location: Carrollton, TX
Pay Rate: $28-35/hour

Our client, a leading alcoholic beverage company is seeking an HR Temp to join their team on a contract basis. This person will be assisting with day-to-day HR duties, including new hire processing, recruiting coordination, and background checks and drug screens, and other related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Weekly Onboarding:

Facilitate engaging, informative, and well-paced onboarding sessions lasting 6+ hours; maintain high energy and audience engagement throughout the day.

  • Presentation & Engagement:

Use strong public speaking skills to communicate company policies, safety procedures, benefits, culture, and expectations in a compelling and professional manner.

  • New Hire Processing:

o Collect and process new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation
o Ensure accurate completion of I-9s, tax forms, and other compliance-related documents
o Issue offer letters and coordinate pre-employment steps

  • Background Checks & Drug Screens:

Coordinate, track, and ensure completion of background checks and drug screening in compliance with company policies and deadlines.
• Administrative Support:
Maintain organized onboarding records, update onboarding materials as needed, and collaborate with HR and hiring teams to ensure smooth new hire transitions.

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or administrative support preferred
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to captivate and maintain engagement with large groups over long sessions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with confidential information and sensitive documents
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
