About the Organization
We are a mission-driven non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community with compassion and integrity. We are seeking a Human Resource Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our HR department with essential administrative and compliance functions.
Position Summary
The Human Resource Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, ensuring smooth operations in onboarding, compliance, payroll, and recruitment processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about supporting employees in a collaborative and people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support new hire onboarding, including preparing documentation, facilitating orientations, and ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
  • Post and manage job openings across multiple platforms.
  • Schedule interviews and assist with the first-round interview process.
  • Maintain and code employee records accurately for payroll purposes.
  • Provide payroll administration support for up to 240 employees.
  • Assist with employee compliance tracking, including certifications, training, and other HR records.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files in accordance with policies and compliance standards.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, BambooHR, and ADP Workforce Now preferred (not required).
