HR Generalist
Location: Calabasas, CA
Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time, Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a growing organization in Calabasas. This role partners closely with leadership to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance with California labor laws, and maintain efficient HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Administer onboarding, offboarding, and employee records in HRIS
Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
Process employee status changes, benefits enrollment, and personnel updates
Manage employee relations issues and assist with performance management
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and California labor regulations
Prepare and deliver HR reports including headcount, turnover, and compliance audits
Coordinate training programs, employee development, and HR initiatives
Handle workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, and FMLA/CFRA tracking
Support payroll by auditing timecards and employee data
Serve as point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and benefits

Qualifications
3+ years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience
Strong working knowledge of California employment law
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, discretion, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
