Your Impact:
As an HVAC Technician, you’ll have primary responsibility for the operations, maintenance, repairs, and updates of HVAC systems across assigned properties. You’ll supervise and coordinate mechanical contractors/subcontractors, support energy management equipment, and ensure a high standard of service for tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate outside mechanical contractors/subcontractors during preventive maintenance
Conduct property-wide mechanical inspections, note deficiencies, and develop corrective action plans
Report project and work order status to the HVAC/Building Systems Manager
Support Maintenance Technicians, Property Managers, and Construction teams with building mechanical issues
Provide training to Maintenance Technicians, Tenant Services, and Property Managers in mechanical systems, including Energy Management Systems (EMS/BAS)
Perform minor repairs and replacements of equipment/parts when necessary
Provide technical guidance to team members and respond to tenant-related HVAC concerns
Investigate repeat HVAC issues, propose corrective actions, and submit for approval
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for HVAC operations
Monitor contractor activity on special projects
Contribute to annual mechanical building improvement budget proposals
Review and provide feedback on tenant fit-up drawings
Represent the Commercial Real Estate Development and Management Properties professionally with tenants, vendors, and the public
Work collaboratively with co-workers for the overall success of the team

What We’re Looking For:
Valid Driver’s License
Refrigerant Recovery Certification (CFC / EPA)
2+ years technical education or 5+ years HVAC experience (industrial/commercial preferred)
Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and customer service skills
Availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency calls
Ability to pass a 7-year background check, credit check, employment verification, and 10-panel drug test

Work Environment:
Exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and loud noise
Work at heights, including rooftops and ladders
