Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Fuel Cell Solutions Division is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated H2 Supply Strategy Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop strategy and execute plans across the hydrogen value chain supporting our myriad of fuel cell products and applications. The ideal candidate will build cross-industry relationships that enhance and strengthen Toyota’s fuel cell opportunities and provide value for our customers.
Reporting to the Group Manager – Fuel Cell Solutions, the person in this role will support the Fuel Cell Solutions department’s objective to expand and grow Toyota’s fuel cell business in North America.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop strategic plans for entire hydrogen value chain supporting Toyota fuel cell customers and sales.
- Collaborate across FCS and Toyota teams to successfully execute value chain strategies.
- Build on and create new industry relationships and collaborations to strengthen Toyota’s position in hydrogen.
- Work with internal partners to identify high-value early-stage hydrogen value chain companies to support our long-term goals.
- Build and maintain significant budget for investment into growing Toyota’s hydrogen capabilities across the supply chain.
- Simultaneously manage multiple complex projects involving both business and engineering components while driving positive financial results.
What you bring
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related field; strong preference for MBA in Strategy and/or Finance.
- Meaningful experience in hydrogen-related business field (e.g., industrial gas company, hydrogen producer, fuel cell start-up, etc.).
- Proficiency with project management, including software tools.
- Proficiency with financial modeling, understanding of risk management.
- Experience with Alteryx or similar modeling tools.
- Self-starter & ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and business information concisely to audiences of varying knowledge and experience.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation.
Added bonus if you have
- Japanese language skill.
- Automotive OEM experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,400.00 – $220,100.00.
