Job Description:

As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, and providing technical support to end users. Your role will involve maintaining hardware, software, and network systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring our IT systems are secure and efficient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to handle a variety of IT-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems for employees and departments.
Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Monitor and maintain the performance of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
Ensure the security of the company’s IT systems, including performing regular backups and updates.
Assist in the setup and configuration of new equipment and systems.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings for company systems.
Assist with network administration and ensuring the integrity and stability of systems.
Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs and recommend improvements.
Document IT procedures and create guides for staff use.
Stay current on emerging technology trends and help implement new solutions to improve productivity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Proficiency in system administration (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity best practices, and data backup procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
