Lab Technician

As a Lab Technician, you will support the development and testing of sealant products. Your role will involve hands-on laboratory work, including sample preparation, testing, and data recording, all while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will have a commitment to safety, the ability to follow procedures, and a collaborative mindset to help the team meet its goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent execution sample preparation and test for sealants products based on customer specification with guidance from team leader

• Collect data and record detailed results in an electronic laboratory notebook

• Work safely with hazardous materials daily, follow rigorous safety procedures, and wear personal protective equipment including the occasional use of a respirator

• Keep a clean work environment, to include the execution of routine upkeep activities to support the entire team

• Help achieve team goals by communicating ideas and assistance, e.g., communicating ways to save time, effort, and resources

• Identify issues that need to be addressed and to take the necessary steps to avoid future errors

Qualifications

• High school education with high school chemistry experience

• 1+ years of lab experience

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000.
