Job Summary

The Lab Assistant will assist the Sophomore Physics Laboratory Manager with technical tasks such as equipment maintenance and testing, setup and break-down, alignment, etc.

Essential Job Duties

Assemble and disassemble, operationally check, and align scientific systems and components including: vacuum components, fittings, and pumps; electronic and computer systems; optical components and assemblies; precision mechanical components and assemblies.

Basic Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate Physics course.
