Job Title: Legal Receptionist
Contract: Temporary to Perm
Location: Hartford, CT
Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Legal Receptionist. This position provides front desk reception and mailroom support for a law firm. Core responsibilities include answering phones, greeting guests, making and maintaining coffee supplies, and occasional assistance in the mailroom. No heavy lifting or prolonged standing/walking is required.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Pay rate: $19.57/hr – $21/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a multi-line phone system and direct calls professionally
  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and attorneys
  • Prepare and maintain coffee service, ensuring supplies are stocked
  • Provide backup support to the mailroom as needed
  • Deliver high-quality customer service in a professional environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related administrative or reception experience, preferably in a law firm
  • Experience with MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Professional demeanor and customer service focus
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment
