Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain operations, freight forwarding, and transportation logistics, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage relationships with agents, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure routing is in place and subsequent moves are executed efficiently, verifying with Operations, Agents, and Carriers.

Track shipments through Proof of Delivery (POD) and promptly alert Operations, Customer Service, and Management of any discrepancies.

Oversee pickups, deliveries, transfers, and freight searches to ensure seamless operations.

Investigate and resolve missing or damaged freight issues by working closely with management, escalation teams, and customer service.

Manage agent and carrier relationships, providing updates and recommendations for improvements or adjustments.

Conduct independent research and follow up on purchase orders, variances, matching, and receiving issues.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations.

Basic knowledge of shipping systems, routing, and logistics practices.

Understanding of basic accounting principles, processes, and systems.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years experience in freight forwarding, particularly in Air Freight (AF) Expeditor, Air Courier, and Ocean Freight.

Experience with expedited ground, LTL ground, and vendor/agent/carrier management.

Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
