We are seeking a Mailroom Associate to support daily operations at our Brooklyn, OH location. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. No prior mailroom experience is required—training will be provided!

?? Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Receive and sort inbound USPS and accountable packages.
  • Check in and deliver packages using chain of custody technology.
  • Retrieve outbound USPS and packages from mail hubs.
  • Create FedEx labels as needed.
  • Walk and stand for 4–6 hours daily to deliver mail/packages across two connected buildings with multiple floors.
  • Provide excellent customer service while assisting staff with mailroom needs.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles (such as restaurant servers, retail associates, or hospitality).
  • Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, email).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 55 lbs.
  • Technical aptitude with printers, copy machines, and postage equipment a plus.

  • Involves periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Indoor work environment with normal lighting and ventilation.
