Job Title: Mailroom Associate
Contract: Temporary to Perm
Location: Portland, OR
Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Mailroom Associate. Responsibilities include processing and sorting inter-company mail, distributing (slotting) incoming mail and packages, picking, packing, and shipping items, and receiving mail, parcels, and freight. The role requires regular physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs., with assistance available for heavier items.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Pay rate: $18.50/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and sorting inter-company mail
  • Distributing (slotting) incoming mail and packages
  • Picking, packing, and shipping items
  • Receiving mail, parcels, and freight
  • Performing physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance available for heavier items)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to operate office and mailroom equipment
  • Background in shipping/receiving or mailroom operations
  • Familiarity with print shop processes and terminology is a plus
