Job Summary

The International Tax Manager will assist with the U.S. compliance for our foreign operations consisting of approximately 600 foreign legal entities and will be involved in preparation of detailed analysis and maintenance of adequate records associated with the U.S. taxation of foreign operations including foreign tax credits, Subpart F, GILTI and FDII calculations, etc.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepares and reviews the U.S. compliance for our foreign operations including preparation of Forms 5471, 8865, and 8858
  • Manages administrative functions related to CorpTax International
  • Calculates foreign source income, 163(j), FDII, GILTI & Subpart F
  • Assists with foreign cash repatriations and foreign tax planning
  • Oversees the application process of US residency certificates and the associated treaty benefit application forms of foreign countries
  • Updates documentation of foreign structure and monitors transaction flows to assure foreign structure is properly maintained
  • Performs tax research to develop and maintain knowledge of federal and international tax law developments
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or variable schedule(s), as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years tax experience in public accounting firms and/or large multi-national companies, including international tax experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP – CorpTax preferred

Desired Characteristics

  • Advanced Degree MBA/MST, CPA a plus
  • Broad technical knowledge of US international tax law and regulations is preferred
  • Detail-oriented and able to take ownership of projects.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, technical, and technological skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
