Manufacturing Operator
- Location: 1555 Harding Street, Indianapolis, IN 46221
Shift Schedule:
- 24/7 operation with rotating 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Typical rotation: 3 work days / 2 days off / 2 work days / 3 days off
- Must be gowned up and ready for shift meeting at 5:45 AM or 5:45 PM
- Overtime, weekends, and off-shift availability required
- Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to established written procedures and work rules.
- Support all manufacturing processes within the assigned department or area.
- Ensure product quality and safety, meeting production standards in both quantity and quality.
- Adhere to all cGMP and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning to maintain a clean operating environment (stocking, sweeping, mopping, trash removal).
- Set up, operate, and clean equipment; unpack/pack and load/unload components and product.
- Execute and document quality checks per department requirements.
- Complete maintenance summaries of assembly and workstation areas as needed.
- Maintain punctual attendance for each scheduled shift and remain flexible to meet changing business needs.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience (please note: warehouse-only experience is not a fit).
- Experience working in a GMP/cGMP environment.
- Strong technical abilities and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production setting.
- Basic math and computer skills with the capability to learn more advanced systems.
- Attention to detail and solid documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, safety, and maintaining an inclusive work environment.
- Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, shoes, gloves, safety cap, etc.).
