The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) and Engineering & Product Support organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Data Publisher to join our Maintenance Engineering Support team in Seal Beach, CA or Seattle, WA

Join our innovative organization, where we partner with Boeing Commercial Services – Customer Support to create and deliver vital technical manuals and content for airlines and maintenance engineering teams. In this role, you will provide essential assembled technical data that supports maintenance engineering deliverables for both commercial airlines and military-derivative customers.

We are looking for a successful candidate with a strong understanding of publishing methodologies who can develop and maintain complex schedules while working with various publishing systems to produce high-quality airline support data. Position Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex application questions and problems

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-going application/end user support

  • Responsible for system requirements and enhancements, scenarios, testing, integration tasks and analysis

  • Communicate with maintenance business unit, authoring groups, airline data delivery teams, and both commercial and derivative users

  • Communicate effectively across the entire team, adapt quickly to changing requirements and have a strong customer focus

  • Work across time zones with a geographically dispersed team of developers

  • Ensure IT systems and processes are compliant with enterprise standards and are secure to enable efficient and effective operations

  • Provide end-to-end technical solution leadership and business process alignment through the sustainment of the applications

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications

  • 3+ years of experience working with industry specifications for maintenance information (ATA iSpec2200, S1000D, spec 2000, spec 2300, etc.)

  • 3+ years of experience with authoring or publishing systems

  • 3+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

  • 3+ years of experience using SQL for application interactions with databases (i.e. Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with programming practices and language structure (Pseudo)

  • Experience with Unix command line and scripting

  • Experience with configuration management and customer effectivity rules

  • Experience with assembly process for technical publications

  • Experience with DevSecOps

  • Experience with GIT lab CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools

  • Experience communicating with team members involved throughout the completion of projects

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $126,500
