The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Versatile Technologist to join the team in Seal Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA.
Join our Information Technology Product Support Government & Tech Operations contract direct team, where we deliver comprehensive software solutions that enable rapid access and visual transformation of complex engineering and manufacturing product data for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Contract Direct Product Support organization.

Position Responsibilities:

Works directly with programs to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules

Designs, installs, configures, troubleshoots and provides support of application server, software, and components

Ensures Information Technology infrastructure conforms with standard architectural objectives

Develops solutions, to challenging problems, that are imaginative, thorough, predictable, and consistent with organization standards

Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations

Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches
-
Supports SQL Server and SharePoint Administration, including backups, disaster recovery, security, performance, incident management, and configuration management

Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives and system’s production readiness and supportability

Supports and integrates a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software application(s) for our engineering and manufacturing teams

Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are no longer required

3+ years of experience with SQL Server Install and Administration
-
3+ years of experience with SharePoint Install and Administration
-
3+ years of experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) Web server hosting .NET applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
-
Current Comp TIA certificate or ability to obtain post-start
-
3+ years of experience with configuration management
-
3+ years of experience with ColdFusion including ColdFusion installation and administration

3+ years of experience with Software Requirements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $87,550 – $118,450
