As the
MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging
procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an
in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,
pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be
expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. You
will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning
and image acquisition/formation. You will be expected to support all imaging
centers staffed by our organization. You will also need to apply your knowledge
of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to
admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:
- Ensure accurate processing of
radiology orders - Maintain accurate up-to-date records
of procedures performed - Operate a variety of
post-processing/3D workstations - Perform accurate image archival
- Prepare and administer paramagnetic
contrast media - Sensitively handle physical and
emotional needs of the patient
Salary
Range: $49.73 – $65.56 Hourly
Qualifications

- Licenses
- A combination of the ARRT and CRT – required. MR
certificate required
OR you need
- A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross –
required - Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program –
required - Venipuncture certificate – preferred
- AA or BS – preferred
- At least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred
- Siemens experience – preferred
- Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
- Ability to identify contraindications for exams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making
skills - Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
- Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
