Description
This role will be on an inpatient APP team working with the Neurology team to address the needs of stroke patients and patients who are experiencing acute neurological changes throughout the hospital. This is a per diem position.
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after.
Salary: $93.94/hourly
Qualifications
- NIHSS Certification
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
- ACLS Certification from AHA
- CA RN and CA Nurse Practitioner
- State of California NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II
- Adult Gerontology Acute Care National Certification (ANCC)
- MSN or DNP in NP Specialty (AG-AC NP/Adult Acute Care NP)
- NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
- Previous NP experience -required
- A minimum of 1 year neurology and/or stroke experience in NP role – required
