The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (https://ame.usc.edu) in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at all levels in all disciplines of Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with particular interests in (1) Energy and Sustainability and (2) Robotics and Autonomous Systems, including candidates whose research integrates Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning into these disciplines. Candidates whose research has applications to any aspect of Aerospace Engineering are particularly welcome. Priority will be given to the overall originality and promise of the candidate’s research work. Positions are available starting August 16, 2024. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D., or equivalent, degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a related field by the beginning of the appointment.
